Spicy Scents, Showy Flowers: A Cuban Charmer That’s Muy Linda
The Brunfelsia Nitida is a unique species from Cuba. Also called ‘Lady of the Night,” it captivates with long, tubular creamy white blooms that emit a spicy fragrance in the evenings. Many plant it near the patio or pool, to enjoy its enticing scent.
The foliage is shiny and dark green, resembling a camellia bush when not in bloom (late spring to fall). It needs full to partial sun and moist soil. Be mindful of your pets around the plant, as it is toxic if ingested.
