Description

A Tropical Beauty With Leaves That Look Dusted in Snow

This soft-focus evergreen adds to “cottage garden” look and feel to your landscaping. Its new growth emerges as dark pink on maroon stems. As the plant matures, the colors fade to mottled shades of pastel pink, gray-green and, of course, snowy white.

Many gardeners allow the plant to grow freely and full, and don’t trim it into a sharp profile. It makes an attractive medium height hedge (looking best when kept to about 3 ft. tall.) The Snowbush is a moderate to fast grower that will be at its most vibrant in full to part sun. It prefers regular watering, but not in soil that stays overly wet.
