Description
Easy to Care For Lily
Though its leaves may look soft and fuzzy, the Asparagus Fern has sharp thorny spurs. Not actually a fern, but a member of the Lily family, this cold hardy, salt tolerant plant is right for hard to mow areas and spots where soil erosion may be a problem. Outdoors, the robust Asparagus thrives in part sun to shady locations, and will reward you with small flowers and red berries.
Indoors, the plant makes an attractive hanging basket. Make sure to mist the arching stems often so the plant receives the humidity it craves. Also place away from pets and small children, as it can be toxic if ingested.
